South Dakota seems like it would be a state where there wouldn’t be much going on, but in retrospect it was one of our most eventful states so far. There was the campsite in the middle of nowhere where we thought for sure that we were going to be attacked by a mountain lion, waking up in the morning and driving through the Badlands, meeting our new friends Cory and Ryan, seeing a van on fire in the middle of the street, the beautiful views of the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore,  and oh yeah, shooting about 8 different kinds of guns. Nothing says “American Road Trip” like the sound of rifle.
